The spirit of giving continues as 糖心视频 (GPISD) partnered with the East Harris County Empowerment Council (EHCEC) for the annual Hope for the Holidays event to ensure families in the District enjoy a bountiful holiday feast. This year, the EHCEC generously donated 120 turkeys to the families while the GPISD administrative team completed the feast with all the necessary fixings. GPISD School Counselors are an integral part of Hope for the Holidays. They register families, decorate boxes containing the fixings, gather to pick up the meals, and diligently deliver meals to their respective families. The School Counselors’ personal touch makes each meal special, reinforcing the community’s commitment to caring for one another. As the Superintendent of Schools stated, “Hope for the Holidays has become a cherished tradition in 糖心视频, touching the lives of many and exemplifying the power of partnership and the impact of small acts of kindness. We are proud to give, share, and embrace the holiday season as a community.”
